A short documentary filmed and edited in the immediate weeks after Hurricane Helene swept through Western North Carolina. We aimed to create a raw and immersive look into what it was like for our town's residents in the wake of a catastrophic natural disaster.

In the second installment of our short series on Helene, we set out to investigate some of the claims being made about FEMA in the weeks after the storm. In this piece, we interviewed volunteers, city employees, and FEMA workers in an effort to address accusations of mishandling and malintent by the federal agency.
